I don’t believe we should simply accept or normalize a baby’s suffering as part of getting their ears pierced. Hearing things like “they only cried for a few minutes” or “it’s normal for it to hurt” shouldn’t mean that we stop looking for a better way.

Do you use numbing cream?
Numbing cream is completely optional. I also offer natural numbing techniques during the procedure to help make the experience even more comfortable.
Do you use a traditional pressure gun?
Absolutely not.
I use a hand-pressure device, which is very different from traditional mall guns. It offers more control and precision.
The earrings used in this system are sharp, similar to a needle, allowing for a quick and smooth piercing.
At what age can I pierce my baby's ears?
According to Canadian health recommendations, it is best to wait until after the first round of vaccinations — especially the tetanus vaccine. This usually happens around 8 weeks of age.

There is no “perfect” age. Earrings for baby girls are often a beautiful cultural tradition.

Only earrings provided by us can be used for the piercing procedure to ensure safety, hygiene, and proper healing.
If you would like a specific model, please contact us in advance so we can check avaliability or place a special order for you. In these cases, the price may vary depending on the selected earring.

Before Your Appointment
Vaccinations
We recommend that your baby has received the first recommended routine vaccinations in Canada before their ear-piercing appointment.
We understand that some families may choose not to vaccinate their baby for personal or family reasons. In this case, your baby should be at least 8 weeks old, and whenever possible, we recommend having clearance from your family doctor, pediatrician, or midwife before the appointment.
After Vaccination
Your baby should be feeling well and fully recovered from their vaccination before the appointment. We recommend waiting at least 5 days after vaccination before piercing.
When You Arrive
We’ll take the time to make you and your baby comfortable.
We’ll introduce you to the procedure, explain each step, answer any questions you may have, and guide you through the aftercare process, so you feel confident knowing exactly how to care for your baby’s new earrings at home.

* Grandparents, Godparents, all the important ones are welcome to be present. If possible just let us know before due to plan better the room.
What is the best technique: needle or hand-pressured device?
Both techniques are safe when performed correctly.
During your appointment, I explain both options and help you choose what feels best for your baby. I also observe your baby’s temperament — some babies are more sensitive, others are more relaxed.
My priority is always a gentle and comfortable experience.
